The Language Learning and Writing Center (LLWC) provides extracurricular language-learning resources for students, faculty, and staff at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU).
Our mission is educational. We work with members of the NYCU community to help them learn the skills they need for clear and effective communication.

Jonathon has nearly a decade of experience teaching English writing courses at the university level. He has been teaching at NYCU since 2016, where he regularly offers courses in English writing as well as English-medium instruction (EMI) courses in philosophy.

Part time Lecturer of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) , Ph.D., Foreign Languages and Literatures, National Taiwan University (2014)

Chih-wei has taught English at the university level for 15 years to students of different age groups and from different countries. He has offered courses in listening comprehension, presentation skills, advanced reading, writing and English for specific purposes. He enjoys reading poetry and the philosophy of Martin Heidegger and Ludwig Wittgenstein. He started teaching at NYCU in 2022, where he shows students how to use online resources to learn English and self-study.
