\r\n\r\n\r\n\t- Important! Please prepare and submit the necessary documents at least three weeks prior to the defense in order for the program to help you apply for the thesis defense process with the university. If the defense application process is not completed and approved by the university, the defense will not be recognized, even if it takes place. Please pay close attention to this!
\r\n\t- Download the attached compressed file and print the checklist to confirm you meet the graduation requirements(including completing the online courses for academic research ethics education)，Afterward, please email the full originality check report to the program office (dpeecs@nycu.edu.tw) to allow the assistant to assist in reviewing the format.
\r\n\t- Coordinate with your advisor and oral defense committee members to schedule the defense. Once scheduled, reserve a venue reserve a venue by yourself, and send the completed invitation letter to the program office. Ensure that all defense application documents are prepared and sent to the program office to initiate the process.\r\n\t\r\n\t
\r\n\t- If your committee members include non-faculty members from other universities, please complete the Master’s Degree Exam Committee Member Qualification Certification form and attach the latest curriculum vitae (including academic background, research, and expertise) for each non-faculty member. Submit this documentation with your defense application.
\r\n\t- The program office will subsidize the defense fee and travel expenses for up to three committee members (excluding the advisor). Fees for a fourth committee member or beyond must be borne by the student and advisor. [Updated by the Program Committee on February 5, 2014]

\r\n\r\nPost-Defense Documentation to be submitted after the defense:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t- Ensure you confirm the final title of your thesis with your advisor. If no further modifications are required, please submit the Thesis Defense Result Form and Defense Evaluation Form to the program office for approval.
\r\n\t- Once the form is approved, submit the Thesis Defense Result Form to the Registration Office. The deadline for submission for the 2nd semester of the 114th academic year is July 31, 2026, as announced by the Registration Office.
