Position Description:
National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) is one of the top-ranking universities in Taiwan. The Chiao Tung Campus is located in the eastern part of Hsinchu City, approximately 70 kilometers south of Taipei, and adjacent to the Hsinchu Science Park, which is renowned for its world-class ICT industry. This location provides opportunities to collaborate with high-tech companies and translate academic research into practical applications.The Institute of Biomedical Engineering was established more than 18 years ago at the Chiao Tung Campus of NYCU. In August this year, it will be officially renamed the " Institute of Intelligent Bioelectrical Engineering." The institute places special emphasis on two research fields: biomedical electronics/optoelectronics and biomedical applications. Currently, it comprises 8 full-time faculty members, 15 jointly appointed professors, 122 master's
students, and 21 Ph.D. students.
Period of Appointment: From August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2028, for three years, with a potential of three-year extension
Qualifications:
• A equivalent academic ranking of Professor/Associate Professor
• Excellent management skills to lead or create research team for multi-disciplinary bio-project
