Windows 10 Support Ending Soon - Please Upgrade to Windows 11
According to the latest announcement on Microsoft's official website, support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025.
To ensure your computer systems continue to receive security updates and software support, please upgrade your computers to Windows 11 as soon as possible.
Other software, such as the Microsoft 365 offline version, may also gradually cease to function correctly.
After support for Windows 10 ends, other software may become unusable or experience operational issues.
If your computer's hardware specifications do not meet the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11, it is recommended that you evaluate replacing it with a new computer that meets these specifications.
Reminder: According to our institution's Microsoft Campus Agreement, Windows operating system licenses only cover upgrade versions and do not permit installation on new computers without an existing OS (bare-metal installs). When purchasing new equipment, all departments must acquire an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) version of the operating system to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Check if a device meets Windows 11 system requirements.
If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Hung-Jie Jhou at the Information Technology Service Center, campus extension 31888.
