Supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan, the Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship program aims to encourage students from Europe to come to Taiwan to study Mandarin and engage in exchanges with Taiwanese students. This will allow Taiwan to make a positive addition to people-to-people exchanges between Taiwan and Europe.&lt;br>&#xd;

All students from European institutions who wish to participate in a non-degree study program (either semester exchange or short-term research) at NYCU.&lt;br>&#xd;
&lt;br>&#xd;
&lt;span style="color:#2980b9;">-Scholarship Amount&lt;/span>&lt;br>&#xd;
Monthly stipend for a minimum of NTD18,000 for four months. (The exact amount of the scholarship will be subject to adjustment by NYCU)&lt;br>&#xd;
The recipients are required to take one Chinese language course and fulfill the course requirements.&lt;br>&#xd;
&lt;strong>The recipients are required to participate in a series of cultural activities designed by the host institution.&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;

	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Conversation Circle&lt;/li>&#xd;

The scholarship spots are adjusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs each semester, the final confirmation will be announced at least one month ahead of the student’s entry.&lt;br>&#xd;
Once admitted, a Certificate of Award will be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visa application.&lt;br>&#xd;
&lt;br>&#xd;
&lt;strong>&lt;span style="background-color:#00cc99;">Other Information&lt;/span>&lt;/strong>&lt;/div>&#xd;
&#xd;
&lt;ol>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">The activities might be subject to adjustments by NYCU in each semester.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">During the exchange/short-term research period, expenses such as accommodation, facility, and other necessary fees are at the student’s own expense.&lt;/li>&#xd;
	&lt;li class="ed_txt">Complying with the program regulation by the Taiwan government, students with a PRC passport are ineligible for the program.&lt;/li>&#xd;
