【補助公告】本校115年度教師出版學術論文補助自即日起受理申請至115年11月30日(一)止。[Subsidy Application Notice] The subsidy application for academic paper publication by faculty members will be accepted until November 30, 2026.

本校教師出版學術論文補助
 
  1. 申請人需為本校專任教師及編制內研究人員,且為所提論文之通訊作者。論文發表機構需為國立陽明交通大學 (National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University)。
  2. 補助範圍包括論文出版費、超頁費及彩色圖印刷費,一篇論文以申請支付一次為限。
  3. 刊登期刊需為本校校級指標性期刊及學院重點發表期刊,補助以實報實銷為原則,支付上限規範如下:
  • 刊登期刊在該領域Ranking Factor前1%,支付總額以15萬元為上限。
  • 刊登期刊在該領域Ranking Factor前10%,支付總額以2萬元為上限。
  • 論文影響數(Impact Factor)在10以上者,支付總額以3萬元為上限。
  • 前述論文若需支付Open Access費用或申請人選擇Open Access,得額外補助至多2萬元。
  1. 欲申請者請於115年11月30日(一)前,將下列資料傳至承辦人企劃一組黃小姐,tfhuang@nycu.edu.tw:
  • 申請書(excel檔及已簽名之PDF檔)
  • 發行或印刷單位之價目表(Invoice) (需簽名)及開立之發票(或收據)正本等有關單據。
  • 銀行外匯水單正本掃描檔(倘以信用卡付費,請附信用卡結帳單) (需簽名)。
  • 剩餘款項若要以其他計畫經費支付,請填寫所附分攤表(需簽名)上
  • 所述之憑證等相關單據需為本(115)年度開立,逾期恕不受理。
  1. 已向其他機構全額申請論文發表補助費之論文,不得再申請本補助。

圖書館支持本校研究人員期刊論文被接受後,轉換成 Open Access(OA)方式,增加本校曝光度與研究成果在國際上被引用,於114年起擴大至九家出版社(ACS、Cambridge University Press、Company of Biologists、Elsevier、IEEE、Institute of Physics、Springer、Taylor & Francis、Wiley)簽訂轉型協議Transformative Agreements (TA) ,提供作者投稿適用期刊,可全免或部分補貼文章出版費(APC),請參見詳細服務說明,或請洽詢王慧恆組長 hhwang@lib.nycu.edu.tw,相關資訊如下,
  1. 申請者需為本校專任教師及編制內研究人員,且為所提論文之通訊作者。
  2. 論文發表機構需為國立陽明交通大學 (National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University)。
  3. 由圖書館與出版社簽訂轉型協議Transformative Agreements (TA) 補助論文Article processing charge (APC)。
  4. 以文章獲接受及其日期認定資格,無需另填申請表。
  5. 鼓勵研究人員進一步將支撐論文發表之定稿版研究資料上傳至 NYCU Dataverse 。
 

The subsidy application for academic paper publication by faculty members
 
  1. In accordance with the "Guidelines for NYCU Faculty Funding for Academic Paper Publication."
  2. Applicants must be Full-time teaching faculty and researchers employed by our university who have been designated as the corresponding author for the submitted academic paper. The institution identified as the publisher should be National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
  3. The stipend covers expenses such as publishing fees, overlength fees, and color printing fees for the paper. Each paper can only be used to apply for the stipend once.
  4. The paper must be published in a university's high-impact journal and the key journal for each college. Payment methods include those listed below:
  • For journal papers ranked in the top 1% of their field according to the Ranking Factor, the maximum total stipend is NTD$150,000.
  • For journal papers ranked in the top 10% of their field according to the Ranking Factor, the maximum total stipend is NTD$20,000.
  • For papers with an Impact Factor more than 10, the maximum total stipend is NTD$30,000.
  • If Open Access fees are required or the applicant opts for Open Access, the maximum total stipend can increase by NTD$20,000.
  1. To apply, please complete the subsidy application form and return it as an Excel file to the responsible staff member, Ms. Huang, at tfhuang@nycu.edu.tw by November 30 , 2026.
Additionally, submit the following documents:
  • An application form and an offprint of the paper.
  • Price list provided by the publishing or printing companies along with original copies of invoices (or receipts).
  • Original copies of the bank transaction proofs. (For credit card transactions, please include a copy of the credit card payment).
  • All proofs and related receipts must be issued in the current year. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  1. Papers previously submitted for stipend applications at other institutions are not eligible for stipend applications at the university.

The Library supports researchers in converting their journal articles to Open Access (OA) after acceptance, thereby increasing visibility and enhancing citation impact of its research outputs. Before submitting paper, please confirm if the journals belong to the specified 9 publishers and select OA. When invoicing, the full APC waiver or partial APC reduction will be automatically applied. To support the university's researchers in publishing Open Access (OA) journals articles, from 2025, the library expanded its partnership to 9 publishers (ACS, Cambridge University Press, Company of Biologists、Elsevier, IEEE, Institute of Physics, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley) by signing Transformative Agreements (TA). These agreements provide authors with full or partial subsidies for Article Processing Charges (APC) for eligible journals. For a detailed description of services, please follow the provided link , or contact Carolyn Wang, hhwang@lib.nycu.edu.tw. Additional information is as follows:
  1. Applicants must be full-time teaching faculty and researchers employed by our university who have been designated as the corresponding author for the submitted academic paper.  
  2. The Author's Affiliation should be National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
  3. Article publication charges (APCs)  subsidy or covered by NYCU Library in transformative agreements.
  4. Please note that discount and waiver requests are only considered after acceptance of the article. 
  5. Researchers are encouraged to deposit the final version dataset in the NYCU Dataverse repository.
