Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday 10:00-12:00 am and 1:00-5:00 pm
Graduate students in the master's and doctoral programs at our school who have completed the 3-hour radiation safety training, obtained the radiation safety seal, received operational training, and passed the examination are eligible to schedule appointments to operate the instrument independently.

Commissioned measurements are also permitted.
Charges are based on the time spent using X-rays and computer operations. Each hour is considered one unit. The pricing is as follows:
  • Self-operated NYCU users are charged NT$300 per hour.
  • Commissioned measurement NYCU users are charged NT$600 per hour.
  • Off-campus self-operated users are charged NT$600 per hour.
  • Off-campus commissioned measurements are charged NT$1000 per hour.
Novice education training requires an additional appointment with the instrument administrator. Once the training is completed, you will be qualified to schedule self-operation appointments. It is available to NYCU users during working hours, excluding instrument maintenance periods.

Here are some guidelines:
  • It is preferred to use powder for the sample, but blocks and films are also acceptable.
  • Block samples should not exceed 2.0×0.7×0.1 cm3 or 1.0×1.0×0.2 cm3.
  • We will not accept radioactive, highly toxic, or volatile samples.
  • Data can be saved online, or bring your own flash drive.
