<div class="ed_txt">While conventional confocal images utilize a pinhole aperture to filter light from the non-focal plane, AiryScan is the latest ZEISS imaging technology that uses a 32-channel planar detector to collect all the light from a single source simultaneously. Since each detector of AiryScan can be regarded as a tiny single pinhole aperture, it can exceed the optical limitations and improve image resolution and quality. Taking the 488nm excitation as an example, the resolution of the XY-axis can be increased to 140 nm and the Z-axis to 400 nm.<br />

<div class="ed_txt"><span style="font-size:110%; color:red"><strong>There is an operation service for LSM900 during office hours. It is also open for self-operation certification except for the AiryScan function.</strong></span><br />
<strong>For self-operation certification, users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the device independently more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30). </strong>Certified users are then authorized to reserve and operate at nighttime according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>
<ol>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Reservation regulations</strong>:
<ul>
<li class="ed_txt">Please visit the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" title=""Instrument Reservation System"">"Instrument Reservation System"</a> to make a reservation before use. The person who makes the reservation must be the actual user.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make four reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>

<li>The office hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, and the nighttime period is from 16:30 to 08:30 of the next day.</li>

The charges will be the same as for general use of the system.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>

<strong>Users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the system more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30)</strong> before they are authorized to reserve online, have access to Room 640 and can use the system according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>
<ol>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Reservation regulations</strong>:
<ul>
<li class="ed_txt">Please go to the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" title=""Instrument Reservation System"">"Instrument Reservation System"</a> to make a reservation before use. The person who makes the reservation must be the actual user.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday at the latest; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make 4 reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Sample requirements</strong>:

<li class="ed_txt"><span style="color:red;">Always use 0.17mm ( No.1.5) glass coverslips for slide samples or glass-bottom Petri dishes.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please be sure to <strong>clean the surface of your samples</strong> before loading.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please ensure the samples are sealed and a fluorescent microscope is used to confirm the samples are fluorescent before loading. <strong>If the samples cannot be serviced due to their own factors, the center will still charge according to the hours of operation.</strong></li>
<li class="ed_txt">If you have special needs, please inform us of the dyes used for the samples before operations so the technician can understand and advise the user's needs.</li>

Nighttime use and LSM7MP allow up to 3 hours per reservation, while other devices allow up to 2 hours per reservation. Reservations can be made consecutively on all devices.</strong></li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>

<div class="ed_txt"><span style="font-size:110%; color:red"><strong>There is an operation service for LSM880 during office hours. It is also open for self-operation certification except for the AiryScan function.</strong></span><br />
<strong>For self-operation certification, users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the device independently more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30). </strong>Certified users are then authorized to reserve and operate at nighttime according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>
<ol>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Reservation regulations</strong>:
<ul>
<li class="ed_txt">Please go to the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" title=""Instrument Reservation System"">"Instrument Reservation System"</a> to make a reservation before use. The person who makes the reservation must be the actual user.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday at the latest; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make 4 reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><span style="color:red;">Always use 0.17mm ( No.1.5) glass coverslips for slide samples or glass-bottom Petri dishes.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please be sure to <strong>clean the surface of your samples</strong> before loading.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please ensure the samples are sealed and a fluorescent microscope is used to confirm the samples are fluorescent before loading. <strong>If the samples cannot be serviced due to their own factors, the center will still charge according to the hours of operation.</strong></li>

<li><strong>Number of Reservations: Each person can make up to four reservations on a single device within a two-week period. Nighttime use and LSM7MP allow up to 3 hours per reservation, while other devices allow up to 2 hours per reservation. Reservations can be made consecutively on all devices.</strong></li>
<li>The office hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, and the nighttime period is from 16:30 to 08:30 of the next day.</li>
<li>If you need to take time-lapse imaging overnight, you must contact the administrator of the center in advance.</li>
<li>LSM 7MP is open from 09:00 to 17:00. If you need to operate at night, you must inform the administrator in advance.</li>
<li>In addition to the education and training of the imaging core facilities organized by the center, it is recommended that you prepare your samples (experimental data can be taken away) for scheduled training and certification tests. The charges will be the same as for general use of the system.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>

<li class="ed_txt">網站開放2週前預約，最遲於前1天確定。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">最短預約時間為1小時，每人每週最多可預約2個時段。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">預約時間逾時30分鐘不到視同違規，未取消則按預約時間給予收費。</li>

<li class="ed_txt">儀器使用完須確實清潔，並詳實填寫登記本。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">如提早使用完，請通知下一位使用者，並關閉操作軟體（無須關閉機台）；最後一位使用者請依照順序確實關閉儀器。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">請自行攜帶空白光碟燒錄資料，禁止連網與使用個人隨身碟；因檔案儲存空間有限，管理員將不定時刪除資料，恕不負責資料保管。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">未經管理員同意，不得擅自於儀器上加裝或拆換任何零件、更改系統設定及安裝軟體。如欲更換顯微鏡鏡頭，請通知管理人進行更換，不得自行更換。若因實驗需要進行任何測試，須先徵求管理員同意，並由原廠工程師陪同，在不傷害正常儀器操作之情況下進行測試，通過測試後方可在管理員許可情況下，由管理員認可之人員操作使用。</li>
<li class="ed_txt">以上各項違規兩週內達兩次，取消儀器使用權一個月，違規超過三次則永遠禁止使用該儀器；如違反上述規範，以致儀器損壞者，需照價賠償以利修復儀器，並停止使用權一個月，再違規者則永遠禁止使用。</li>

<strong>Users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the system more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30)</strong> before they are authorized to reserve online, have access to Room 640 and can use the system according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>

<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday at the latest; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make 4 reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Sample requirements</strong>:

<li class="ed_txt">Please use a fluorescent microscope to confirm the samples are fluorescent before loading. <strong>If the samples cannot be serviced due to their own factors, the center will still charge according to the hours of operation.</strong></li>
<li class="ed_txt">If you have special needs, please inform us of the dyes used for the samples before operations so the technician can understand and advise the user's needs.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please contact the center administrator for any other needs or special requirements.</li>

<li class="ed_txt">Two-photon technology utilizes the energy of two double-wavelength photons to stimulate fluorescence in an additive manner.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Since the longer wavelength infrared light excites the sample and the two-photon is only imaged at the focal point, the sampling depth can be increased without pinhole filtering of the non-focal plane signals. It is beneficial for observing highly scattering samples, and 100% reflected fluorescence can be perceived.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">In addition, the relatively low energy of infrared light can minimize photobleaching and cytotoxicity produced by photochemical reactions and is suitable for long-time live-cell image acquisition.</li>

<li><strong>Number of Reservations: Each person can make up to four reservations on a single device within a two-week period. Nighttime use and LSM7MP allow up to 3 hours per reservation, while other devices allow up to 2 hours per reservation. Reservations can be made consecutively on all devices.</strong></li>
<li>The office hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, and the nighttime period is from 16:30 to 08:30 of the next day.</li>
<li>If you need to take time-lapse imaging overnight, you must contact the administrator of the center in advance.</li>
<li><span style="color:#e74c3c;">LSM 7MP is open from 09:00 to 17:00. If you need to operate at night, you must inform the administrator in advance.</span></li>
<li>In addition to the education and training of the imaging core facilities organized by the center, it is recommended that you prepare your own samples (experimental data can be taken away) for scheduled training and certification tests. The charges will be the same as for general use of the system.</li>
<li><strong>The above table shows the hourly usage charge. Charges are calculated on a half-hour basis.</strong></li>

The service will be stopped if the number of overdue payments reaches (and includes) two times.</div>
</div>Precautions<!-- 注意事項 -->

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>

<div class="ed_txt"><span style="font-size:110%; color:red"><strong>*Users must be certified.</strong></span><br />
<strong>Users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the system more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30)</strong> before they are authorized to reserve online, have access to Room 617, and can use the system according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>
<ol>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Reservation regulations</strong>:
<ul>
<li class="ed_txt">Please go to the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" title=""Instrument Reservation System"">"Instrument Reservation System"</a> to make a reservation before use. The person who makes the reservation must be the actual user.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday at the latest; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make 4 reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>

<li class="ed_txt">Please ensure the samples are sealed and a fluorescent microscope is used to confirm the samples are fluorescent before loading. <strong>If the samples cannot be serviced due to their own factors, the center will still charge according to the hours of operation.</strong></li>

<li><strong>Number of Reservations: Each person can make up to four reservations on a single device within a two-week period. Nighttime use and LSM7MP allow up to 3 hours per reservation, while other devices allow up to 2 hours per reservation. Reservations can be made consecutively on all devices.</strong></li>
<li>The office hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, and the nighttime period is from 16:30 to 08:30 of the next day.</li>
<li>If you need to take time-lapse imaging overnight, you must contact the administrator of the center in advance.</li>
<li>LSM 7MP is open from 09:00 to 17:00. If you need to operate at night, you must inform the administrator in advance.</li>
<li>In addition to the education and training of the imaging core facilities organized by the center, it is recommended that you prepare your own samples (experimental data can be taken away) for scheduled training and certification tests. The charges will be the same as for general use of the system.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>

<strong>Users should pass the certification test after the instruction and operate the system more than five times (inclusive) during office hours (8:30-16:30)</strong> before they are authorized to reserve online, have access to Room B03 and can use the system according to the regulations. If the certified user does not use the device for one month, they must be certified again by the administrator.</div>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Reservation regulations</strong>:
<ul>
<li class="ed_txt">Please go to the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" title=""Instrument Reservation System"">"Instrument Reservation System"</a> to make a reservation before use. The person who makes the reservation must be the actual user.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">After use, please register in the record book. <strong>The start time is the reservation time, and the end time is based on the end time of use.</strong> You cannot delay the start time or occupy other people's sessions.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Reservations cannot be canceled on the same day. Reservations made more than half an hour after the scheduled time are considered abandoned.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">No same-day reservations are accepted. Please confirm your reservation by 16:30 of the previous workday at the latest; late changes violate the rules and will not be accepted.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Each person can make 4 reservations within two weeks, and each reservation can be made for 2 hours.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Sample requirements</strong>:

<li class="ed_txt"><span style="color:red;">Always use 0.17mm ( No.1.5) glass coverslips for slide samples or glass-bottom Petri dishes.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please be sure to <strong>clean the surface of your samples</strong> before loading.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">Please ensure the samples are sealed and a fluorescent microscope is used to confirm the samples are fluorescent before loading. <strong>If the samples cannot be serviced due to their own factors, the center will still charge according to the hours of operation.</strong></li>
<li class="ed_txt">If you have special needs, please inform us of the dyes used for the samples before operations so the technician can understand and advise the user's needs.</li>

<li><strong>Number of Reservations: Each person can make up to four reservations on a single device within a two-week period. Nighttime use and LSM7MP allow up to 3 hours per reservation, while other devices allow up to 2 hours per reservation. Reservations can be made consecutively on all devices.</strong></li>
<li>The office hours are from 08:30 to 16:30, and the nighttime period is from 16:30 to 08:30 of the next day.</li>
<li>If you need to take time-lapse imaging overnight, you must contact the administrator of the center in advance.</li>
<li>LSM 7MP is open from 09:00 to 17:00. If you need to operate at night, you must inform the administrator in advance.</li>
<li>In addition to the education and training of the imaging core facilities organized by the center, it is recommended that you prepare your own samples (experimental data can be taken away) for scheduled training and certification tests. The charges will be the same as for general use of the system.</li>

<li class="ed_txt"><strong><span style="color:#ff1900;">No USB flash drive is allowed. </span></strong>Please use FTP to transfer files or bring your blank CD-ROM to burn data. Due to the limited space of the computer's hard disk, the administrator will delete the data from time to time to facilitate the normal operation of the instrument. <span style="color:#ff1900;">We are not responsible for data storage.</span></li>
<li class="ed_txt"><strong>Without the consent of the administrator of the Center, you are not allowed to add or remove any parts, alter the system settings, or install software on the Center's public equipment. </strong>If any experiment requires any test, the administrator's consent must be sought first and accompanied by the engineer of the original manufacturer to carry out the testing without damaging the normal operation of the equipment, and only after the passing of the test can it be operated and used by the personnel approved by the administrator of the Center under the condition of the administrator's permission.</li>
<li class="ed_txt">According to the administrator's judgment, the violator is warned for the first time, canceled the right to use for one month for the second time, and canceled the right to use permanently for the third time; if the violator violates the above specification, resulting in the damage of the instrument, the violator shall pay compensation to repair the instrument and stop the right to use for one month. The violator is prohibited from using the instrument permanently.</li>
