Ensure the machine is in good condition and the cryochamber is clean.</li> <li><strong>Quick freezing of the specimen</strong>: <ol> <li>Activate the “Cryobar” button on the control panel.</li> <li>Use a freezing compound (such as OCT) to fix the specimen onto the Object Disc (specimen holder)</li> <li>Place the Object Disc (specimen holder) on the Cryobar to freeze the specimen.</li> </ol> </li> </ol> <span style="font-size:110%;">After use:</span> <ol> <li>Clean the used Object Disc (specimen holder) and return it to its original location if you borrow it from the center.</li> <li><strong>Place back the protective cover of the Blade Holder.</strong></li> <li><strong>Clean the remaining residual glue and specimen inside the cryochamber.</strong></li> <li>Tighten the handle clamps.</li> <li>Close the window of cryochamber.</li> <li><strong>Press Stand-by on the control panel.</strong></li> </ol>Reservation rules and precautions<div class="ed_model01 clearfix"> <ol> <li class="ed_txt">Reservations must be made online using the <a href="https://ircbooking.nycu.edu.tw/IRC/irc_booking/index_en.aspx" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" title="Instrument Reservation System(Open New Windows)">Instrument Reservation System</a> before use.</li> <li class="ed_txt">Reservations can be made as early as two weeks in advance.
