Quit Smoking
More than 7,000 chemical substances will be produced after tobacco products being burned, including at least 250 known harmful substances and more than 70 known carcinogens. The health hazards are beyond imagination, and electronic cigarettes are even more harmful. Our group continues to set up smoking cessation clinics, strengthen dissemination on the poisonous effects of e-cigarettes, and aim to establish a Smoke-free Campus.

Smoking Cessation Resource
  • In order to encourage smokers to quit smoking and reduce the financial burden of them, starting from May 15, 2022, people who are quitting smoke will receive smoking cessation supplementary drug service, and regardless of whom, the partial burden of smoking cessation supplementary drug will be exempted to raise the incentive of quit smoking
  • Ministry of Health and Welfare's Toll-free smoking cessation hotline: 0800-636-363
  • General medical institutions provide smoking cessation services include nicotine replacement drugs (nicotine chewable tablets, nicotine buccal tablets, nicotine inhalers, nicotine patches), non-nicotine replacement drugs (Zebrix, Nicotine), doctor consultation. Teachers, staff and students in need can first assess their own status and needs before choosing a suitable smoking cessation medical institution.
