Welcome to PainLab. Our research group aims to understand how pain is generated,
modulated, and becomes chronic in the brain and nervous system. Combining EEG
neurophysiology, quantitative sensory testing, and non-invasive neuromodulation, we
seek biomarkers that predict disease and treatment response and translate our findings
into more precise, patient-centered care.
