I. Purpose of the Award：In order to reward the outstanding achievements of graduates of the 113th academic year (including both undergraduate and graduate students) who have brought honor to the university during their studies, the "National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Student Outstanding Contribution Award Implementation Guidelines" have been established.

II. Selection Qualifications: Eligible candidates include graduates of the current academic year who have demonstrated outstanding performance in the following categories during their studies and have been recommended by relevant departments:

1. Sports Category：Students who participated in the school’s representative teams and represented the school in inter-school competitions, achieving excellent results and bringing honor to the school, recommended by the Sports Office. (For the Outstanding Contribution Award in Sports, please directly contact the Sports Office for application, and the application deadline will be announced by the Sports Office.)
2. Talent Category：Students who represented the school in inter-school competitions and achieved excellent results, bringing honor to the school, recommended by the Extracurricular Activities Office or the relevant department.
3. Service Category：Students who actively participated in school-wide activities, organized or led significant events, worked diligently, and made a notable impact, or participated in public affairs or social services, bringing honor to the school with their outstanding contributions, recommended by the relevant department.
4. Comprehensive Category：Students who do not fall under the above three categories but whose outstanding deeds have brought honor to the school, recommended by each college for review, with a maximum of one candidate per college. (Each college's review deadline will be announced by the respective college. Colleges must submit the recommendations to the central office by 17:00 on April 11, 2025.)

III. There is another internal recognition channel for outstanding academic performance, which is not included in this selection procedure.

IV. Applications for the Outstanding Contribution Awards in Talent, Service, and Comprehensive Categories must be submitted by 17:00 on April 11, 2025, with separate submission points for Yang Ming and Chiao Tung campuses.
