What We Do
The CAID is the core platform for the NYCU to promote external strategies and resource integration, dedicated to strengthening the practical application and systemic development of innovative services for healthy aging.
The CAID focuses on two major strategic directions:
1. Deepening connections with industry by integrating diverse aging-related sectors such as healthcare, health promotion, insurance and finance, smart housing, long-term care technology, nutrition and food products, healthy living, and cultural education and leisure to promote the design, practical on-site application, and service transformation of integrated innovative solutions and establish replicable and scalable models for the aging industry.
2. Expanding policy participation and international cooperation by actively engaging in the formulation of policies for healthy aging and care, institutional advocacy, and assessment of technology implementation to promote evidence-based policy innovation. The CAID also establishes cooperation networks with international academic research and practical institutions, deepening cross-border knowledge exchange and joint research to strengthen Taiwan's visibility in global healthy aging issues. Since its establishment in 2025, the CAID has continued to connect with quality partners from industry and policy sectors, deepening cross-domain cooperation and promoting innovative transformation of the healthy aging system to consolidate the NYCU’s strategic positioning and sustainable influence in the field of healthy aging.
