Recombinant Epinecidin-1 Functionalized Electrochemical Platform for Ultrasensitive Detection of V. orientalis
We pioneered a label-free electrochemical biosensor combining a grouper-derived antimicrobial peptide (rEP1) with laser-patterned gold nano-thin-film (Au-NTF) electrodes. The platform delivers an ultra-low limit of detection of 3 CFU/mL across a 10-log dynamic range with rapid, reliable performance in complex seafood matrices.

HLA-C-Derived Peptide MH-1 as an Early-Stage Intervention Against SARS-CoV-2 Infection
We identified an MHC class I (HLA-C)-derived peptide, MH-1, which binds the viral spike RBD and competitively disrupts its engagement with ACE2. Crucially, MH-1 protects T lymphocytes from infection via alternative HLA-C entry pathways and reduces pulmonary viral load by 86% alongside marked suppression of lung inflammation in K18-hACE2 mice.

Dynamic Seebeck Effect in Nanojunctions of Nickel-Chelated DNA
We revealed dynamic thermoelectric energy conversion across nanoscale junctions of conducting nickel-doped DNA (Ni-DNA). These findings provide fundamental physical insights into quantum charge and thermal transport in metallized biomacromolecules, advancing their application in molecular-scale electronics.

Development of Rapid and Efficient Enterovirus Typing and Classification Platform for Real-Time Diagnostics
Overcoming conventional multi-day sequencing workflows, this platform integrates asymmetric PCR with genotype-specific ssDNA Au-NTF electrodes. It enables high-sensitivity detection and simultaneous categorization of enteroviruses into four distinct clinical subgroups (EV-A71, CV-A, CV-B, ECHO) in under 2 hours.
