Amersham Imager 680 luminescence, UV light, fluorescence image capture system is an upgraded version of ImageQuant LAS-4000 series, suitable for imaging detection and analysis of protein and DNA samples of gels and Western Blot transfer membranes.
  • Detection range includes Chemiluminescence, Fluorescence (UV, red, green, blue), and white light imaging.
  • The hardware has white light, UV light, and fluorescence. Using image capture from different light sources, samples can be analyzed to determine the protein or nucleic acid concentration under the following situations.

When the orange light in the lower left corner turns to green, you can use it.
Instrument use
  1. Please use the matching tray and accessories correctly according to the sample type. (For samples other than WB membrane, please contact us)
  2. When using, do not throw the Sample to avoid contamination of the surrounding environment.
  3. If you find that the previous user has caused environmental contamination, please make sure to record it in the log book to avoid any misunderstanding before use.
  4. After use, clean and wipe the front and back of the board and the tray.
  5. At the end of the operation, if you are not the last user of the day, you do not need to turn off the power of the host computer, the instrument has an automatic sleep mechanism.
  6. It is strictly prohibited to use gloves; EtBr samples are also prohibited.
Instrument shutdown
The last user of the day (after 5pm) should press the On/Off button (in front of the device) to turn off the instrument after use.
