陽明交大所有敬愛的師生校友，
Dear esteemed faculty, students, and alumni of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU)
今晚馬上就要赴美，參加北加州校友會成立大會，同時，也是為了向更多人介紹陽明交大的優秀之處。在這個時刻，我想不到還有什麼方式能傳達我對大家的感謝。
I am on the verge of departing for the United States tonight to attend the inauguration of the Northern California Alumni Association. This trip also serves as an opportunity to showcase NYCU's excellence to a broader audience. At this moment, I find no better way to express my gratitude to all of you.
我要衷心感謝大家對我和整個行政團隊的信任。昨天，校務代表再次委任我領導陽明交大未來四年的工作。這份信任讓我感到無比榮幸，同時也深知其中所承載的責任。
I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks for your trust in me and the administrative team. The school representatives have reappointed me to lead NYCU for another four years. This trust is an immense honor and comes with significant responsibility.
陽明交大是一個大家庭，每一位成員都為學校發展貢獻自己的力量，無論是同學們的積極參與還是教師員工的辛勤付出，都是陽明交大進步的動力。我很榮幸過去三年能與大家一起面對挑戰，也很高興與同學們一起享受梅竹賽的熱血。
NYCU is a large family where every member contributes strength to the school's development. The active participation of students and the dedicated efforts of our faculty and staff are the driving forces behind our progress. I am honored to have faced challenges with you over the past three years and delighted to share the excitement of the Mei-Chu Games with our students.
未來任期，我們將繼續把握政府推出的「晶創計畫」，持續在半導體領域發揮領導作用，為台灣的半導體產業做出更大貢獻。同時，我們也將致力於推動健康產業，讓醫療不僅僅是一種志業，更能成為帶動台灣經濟的重要產業。我不會忘記陽明交大在人文社會領域的優勢，我們將確保以人為本的高科技生態圈。這是校務代表與同學們一再提醒我的。
In my upcoming term, we will continue to capitalize on the government's "Taiwan Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program," maintaining our leadership in the semiconductor field and contributing even more to Taiwan's semiconductor industry. We will also focus on promoting the health industry, making healthcare not just a profession but a significant driver of Taiwan's economy. I have not forgotten NYCU's strengths in humanities and social sciences. As constantly reminded by the school representatives and students, we are committed to ensuring a people-centered high-tech ecosystem.
我承諾，我會持續重視校內師生意見，積極暢通校內溝通管道，消彌各式障礙，與大家一同努力從制度到文化面，逐步形塑陽明交大的新面貌。
I promise to keep valuing the opinions of our faculty and students, actively improve communication channels, and eliminate obstacles. We will work together to gradually shape the new face of NYCU culturally and institutionally.
再次感謝大家對我及行政團隊的支持與信任。每一個人都是陽明交大融合、蛻變、超越的力量。明年我暫定以「領航」為全校主軸，我們一起努力讓陽明交大在生醫、理工、人文等次領域成為領航者。
Thank you again for your support and trust in me and the administrative team. Each of you is the power behind NYCU's integration, transformation, and transcendence. Next year, I aim to focus on "navigation" as the central theme for the school, striving together to make NYCU a leader in biomedicine, science and engineering, and humanities.
在我啟程前夕，請允許我以最傳統的方式表達，謹代表我與行政團隊全體，向大家致謝；也歡迎大家持續給我與團隊更多批評與指教。
As I prepare to depart, allow me to express my thanks in the most traditional way. On behalf of the administrative team and myself, I am grateful for your support. I also welcome ongoing feedback and guidance for the team and me.
