【Dual-degree】[University of Technology Sydney] 2024-2025 Dual PhD Degree Program
An agreement with the Graduate Research School of the partner institution, allowing participating students to obtain a doctoral degree (each year, our university can send 5 students to UTS and receive 2 students from UTS).

I. Application details:
1. Course and department information: Based on the programs offered by the partner institution's Graduate Research School.
2. Graduation requirements: Students must accumulate a minimum of 24 months of study across both institutions. Each university will have at least one supervisor jointly guiding the student; they will jointly write one thesis and conduct one oral examination. Upon completion, the student will receive a single doctoral degree, annotated as obtained through this bilateral doctoral program.
3.Application procedure: You must first find a supervisor at the partner institution and apply for this degree, followed by the internal processes at NYCU. For additional information, you can refer to the UTS official website.
4. Fees: Students will receive a scholarship when attending the partner institution, which will cover tuition fees. The scholarship will be funded by the partner institution, and students from NYCU may receive support for a maximum of four years.
II. How to apply:
1. Please fill the application form and delivered required documents to Mr. Daniel Lin, Office of International Affairs(1F, Boya Center, Yangming Campus)
III. Important Notes:
1. Students intending to apply for a dual degree program should refer to the "National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Overseas Universities Dual Degree Program Regulations."
2. The application process, graduation credit requirements, and fees are subject to the announcements on the host university’s official website.
3. For related scholarship applications, please refer to the "National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Scholarship Guidelines for Outstanding Students Pursuing Dual Degree Programs."
