Undergraduate and graduate students can apply to study for the Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) program at Purdue University's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).


I. Application details:
     1. Application Procedure: Applicants should follow Purdue University's general application process [Link 1] [Link 2]; there are 25 available spots each year.
     2. Credit Transfer: Students can transfer up to 12 credits from graduate courses completed at NYCU. At Purdue, they must complete at least an additional 18 credits, for a total of at least 30 credits. The credit transfer process must be completed within the first semester after arriving at Purdue.
     3. Fees: During the study period at Purdue, students are required to pay tuition and fees to both their home university and Purdue University, as well as cover accommodation, living expenses, insurance, etc. The amounts are based on announcements made on Purdue's official website.
     4. Application Deadline: Apply by December 1 each year for admission to the fall semester of the following year. For more detailed information, please see the provided links.
     5. Fields of Study: Students must study at Purdue for at least one year, with a focus on semiconductors and microelectronics for their graduate program.

III. Important Notes:
    1. Students intending to apply for a dual degree program should refer to the "National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and Overseas Universities Dual Degree Program Regulations."
   2. The application process, graduation credit requirements, and fees are subject to the announcements on the host university’s official website.
   3. For related scholarship applications, please refer to the "National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Scholarship Guidelines for Outstanding Students Pursuing Dual Degree Programs."
