  • The National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University campus authorized software authorizes faculty, staff and students of the school to obtain and use it legally during their employment and studies.
  • Please ensure the security of your account and do not give your login account password to others. If non-school staff and students use software or serial numbers authorized by the school, their behavior has infringed upon intellectual property rights and will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
  • Please use authorized software legally. The authorized software serial number must not be disclosed or transferred without the consent of the authorized software company, to avoid violating the contract, violating copyright laws, affecting the country’s image, and possibly facing problems such as claims from the authorized software company and difficulty in renewing the contract.
  • Campus-authorized software is regulated by each software contract and should be used within a reasonable scope. Any behavior such as package downloading of the entire site, repeated downloading of a single file multiple times, or downloading IP addresses that are detected to be from other schools or external units, etc., all exceed reasonable use. Scope concerns. The Information Technology Center may require users to provide explanations for downloading behavior suspected of violating intellectual property rights. If the user fails to provide any explanation, the Information Technology Service Center may suspend the user’s permission for one month.
  • Please respect intellectual property rights. Users may not sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise allow others to obtain their authorized software, documentation, or copies.
  • Faculty and students do not have the right to use the software after they leave the school. Except for the installed Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Word processing software that can continue to be used during the validity period of the certification, other software will no longer have the right to be used after you leave school.
  • The intellectual property of the licensed software belongs exclusively to the licensed software company and is protected by copyright law and international treaties. The licensed software company retains ownership of the licensed software and all other rights. The licensing specifications of individual software are subject to the licensing contracts and user specifications of each software company.
  • If there are serious violations of the above matters, they will be dealt with in accordance with relevant school regulations; if judicial authorities such as the Procuratorate and Investigation Bureau request the school to collect evidence, the Information Technology Service Center will cooperate with the investigation in accordance with the law.
