Hsinchu City Mayor Chen-Yuan Chiu inspired the athletes by quoting from the film "Fearless(霍元甲)": "In martial arts, there is no hierarchy, but people have their strengths and weaknesses. The Meichu Games offer an excellent opportunity to test yourself because your true opponent is yourself." These words ignited the passion of everyone present.
