Campus Emergency First Aid Safety Series Activity
Event 1: World First Aid Day Response - CPR Flash Challenge Activity
- Date: September 12, 2024 (Thursday)
- Time: 12:00 - 13:00
- Location: Guangfu Campus - Plaza in front of the Second Female Dormitory Cafeteria
- Event Description:
Participants will perform a 1-minute CPR technique using QCPR mannequins, which provide feedback on CPR accuracy. Those who complete the challenge successfully and fill out a questionnaire will receive a special gift!
- Registration: Open for everyone to participate in the challenge.
Event 2: First Aid (CPR+AED)Course (2 hours online + 2 hours in-person) (★This Course will be using mandarin as main language)
- Online Course Date: September 23-24, 2024 - Course link will be sent to individual emails.
- In-Person Course Date: October 3, 2024 (Thursday) 09:00 - 11:30
- In-Person Course Location: International Conference Hall, B1, Haoran Library, Guangfu Campus
- Registration: apply at the NYCU Portal -> NYCU Campus -> Health Management Systems -> Event Reservation -> Event Application.
- Important Notes:
Before attending the in-person course, participants must complete and pass the online course.
Participants who complete both the online and in-person courses and pass the exam will receive a full CPR and AED Certification.
After successful registration, a deposit of 100 TWD must be submitted to the Health and Safety Division by September 25. The deposit will be refunded upon full participation in the course.
★ This event requires significant preparation. Please ensure your schedule is clear for the above dates before registering to complete the course and attend on time.

- Important Notes:
The course includes pre- and post-tests, with group-based scenario simulations and discussions.
Participants must have basic first aid knowledge, such as a basic first aid certificate, to register.
